Privacy Policy

CVDock respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information CVDock handles when you use the CVDock app and website.

Information we keep

Your resume and profile data are saved locally on your device. CVDock does not currently upload your resume or profile content to Supabase. If you enable iCloud synchronization or backup, Apple processes the synced data under your Apple account and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

CVDock uses an anonymous Supabase session and internal user ID to operate authenticated features, limited product analytics, and membership services securely. This session is not linked to a Google account, and CVDock does not receive Google account information.

Product analytics

CVDock records limited product-usage events, such as onboarding progress, CV creation, export, and feature usage. These events may be associated with your account through an internal user ID and are stored in Supabase. They contain fixed event names and limited properties; CVDock does not send your resume text, imported document contents, or photo contents as analytics data.

Error and performance diagnostics

CVDock uses Sentry for crash, error, app-hang, session, and limited performance diagnostics in the app and supporting service. Sentry is configured not to receive default personally identifying information. Request bodies, cookies, authentication headers, email addresses, IP addresses, and resume content are removed or scrubbed from diagnostic events where applicable.

AI-assisted features

When you explicitly use an AI-assisted writing feature, the text you select for that action is sent to the CVDock service for processing by the configured AI provider. AI requests are not made automatically, and CVDock does not use your resume content for advertising.

Account deletion

You can delete your CVDock membership directly from the Account section in the app. You can also request deletion by emailing . After verifying the request, CVDock will delete your membership and associated server-side account data, including the authentication record.

CVDock does not sell your personal information and does not use your resume content for advertising.

Apple iCloud

If you enable iCloud synchronization, Apple processes and stores synced data under your Apple account and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy. CVDock does not control Apple’s services.

Website and email

This website is a static information and support site. If you contact CVDock by email, we receive the information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
